A passion. An olfactive trap. Addictive.
For the purposes of ICONOfly, diary of an accessory/ journal d'un accessoire -- a print publication -- Olivia Bransbourg, its founder and editor, invited several artists in 2009 -- musicians, chefs, writers, designers and perfumers -- to celebrate the world of bracelets. David Lynch, Andres Serrano, Lou Reed among many others participated.
The perfumers Christine Nagel and Benoist Lapouza metamorphosed the idea of a bracelet into a scent-canvas interwoven with wood, amber and musk notes. A very addictive olfactive trap called ATTACHE-MOI (tie me up). The sculptor Serge Mansau imagined for the Extrait de Parfum a flask-bracelet covered with gold leaf with an edition of 8 unique pieces.
The Eau de Parfum along with the publication were inaugurated with a one month exhibition at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche in Paris in 2009. The first edition sold out in one month.

ATTACHE-MOI + THE FLASK SCULPTURE: THE BEGINNING
For ATTACHE-MOI, flask sculptor Serge Mansau conceived 8 unique pieces covered with gold leaf.
"This flask-bracelet as a symbol, whether to give it to someone, to wear or to keep. I’ve contrasted its dual purpose by playing on its being both a perfume and an intention." –Serge Mansau
